Sahari is a hard metal alloy of copper and tin developed centuries ago and used in making treasures, such as those at Shōsō-in. Tin is added in the highest proportion possible to create orin bells with a clear and unwavering sound.
LinNe orin are made with our unique formula of sahari alloy, cast in clay molds that have been fired in a wood-burning kiln.
